Mentoring Matters!

Aurora Youth Options
, Aurora Mental Health Center's youth service and mentoring program, is featured as among the top 50 mentoring programs in the United States by Esquire magazine. Esquire
looked at hundreds of organizations and focused on three criteria to arrive at the ones listed throughout their database—reasonable adherence to the Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring guide, developed by MENTOR, the national mentoring organization; expert referrals; and potential interest to men. See for more information. Congratulations, AYO!

Aurora Youth Options has met our goal of serving 700+ youth during this fiscal year and therefore we are currently unable to serve any additional youth at this time.  However, we encourage the community to refer youth to our program when we start accepting nominations again, which will be in August 2015.  AYO would like to thank all of our Gatekeepers for utilizing AYO as a resource for Aurora youth.
